Gorganoth: Nexus' Largest and Hungriest Beast

On the current topic of my article, I will be focusing on one of the largest beast of Nexus: Gorganoth. With the size of Dominion Warbot and the tusked face with snout and two horns, this gigantic beast live in solitary lifestyle consisting of omnivore diet with leanings towards meat diet and consumption of unfortunate explorers of any race. Due to their territorial nature and hostile simple-minded nature, their tendency to eat everything that they can get their hands on those came into their lairs uninvited or on mating seasons have provided much tales of unfortunate explorers becoming light snacks in their encounter. Although it would not be a fine thing to hear from non-Dominion sources, but they also pose problems for Exiles of their own continent for consuming their Roan livestock. Their bipedal motion allowed them to mobility through tight areas while freeing their hands to either attack or grasp their victims.

They are found mostly on Nexus, but Zonaga of Deradune and Seher the Blood Drinker of Wilderrun were two of infamous Gorganoths known in Dominion territories before their demise from bold adventures. To make matters worse, an unfortunate Gorganoth venturing into active Eldan sites will be horrifying for those who do not wish to see a giant beast with a plethora of implants and nanite enhancements. In addition, there is a single encounter on Skullcano island where a tribe of moodies has some success in taming the Gorganoth in captivity for possible use as a beast of war. While the living Gorganoth can be dangerous, I can assure that their deaths do not always ensure relief. Their corpses also tend to attract the attention of Moodies and recently Necroshamans due to their large size providing instruments of intimidation when the now revived giant is unleashed upon unfortunate targets. This instance happened to me at a Protostar Facility where Protostar's expansion into Moodies' land was retaliated by their necromancers through reanimation of a Gorganoth's skeleton that caused massive damages and injuries of the defenders who managed to finish them. In the further discussion into the Gorganoth skeletons, Gorganoth skeletons which is augmented with arrays of implants and a preserved brain can be found at Biomech Facility in Grimvault. Though Gorganoth are vile and dangerous creatures, a biologist would find intriguing based on their physiology that breaks every known data on large lifeforms.

As from my studies, titanic lifeforms of Nexus tend to be short lived in biological survival lifespan due to their problems with the large size that range from amounts of food to complications resulting from gigantism such as incapacitation from a fall. As a result, these studies made Gorganoth a unique species as a testament of the current surviving titanic species on Nexus, though their gene pool might be questionable due to their rudimentary intelligence possibly resulting from lack of contact with other faraway groups to improve their intellect. In addition, the autopsy showed that their bones were unusually strong yet flexible enough to prevent complications from broken bones. Their flesh is relatively less dense compared to large species that noted for their mobility from its ability to lunge at their prey without any detriments to its body. While a large species would be knuckle walker or quadrupeds to maintain, Gorganoth is bipedal that further intrigued the scientists since spine would have been crushed or their large mass sinking into the ground without its unique bone and tissue materials. In conclusion, Gorganoth broke every rule of titanic lifeforms' possible survivability due to its unique bone materials and composition that made them one of the few titanic creatures.
