Success At Second Foundation Blood Drive

For the second time this year Evindra Institute with sponsorship and organization by Dashkova Industries’ Foundation Branch, hosted a successful charity event.

Hosted on the 25th of May, this event ran into the late evening hours, inviting all races and walks of life to join in blood donation and a free medical clinic by some of Nexus’ finest medical professionals.

As reported by Douglas Bricius: The first interesting aspect of this blood drive is a Mechari coming to an event as a donor, which both the event organizers called for donations of Omniplasm and Exanite Shards. These two are required for the survival of Mechari in the case of damages, which the former act as life source while the latter allow them to transfer their “souls” from damaged chassis. The name of the donor is not displayed for privacy purposes, but I was allowed to write on his statement that he got a free haircut for the event.

Those attending the event were offered access to the Cafe on campus free of charge where many gathered to catch up on recent events.

DNN’s staff were also on hand for donations. With comments in regards to setting milestones for Mechari inclusion and staff donating as well. With the totals from this drive topping the first event many only hope that the volunteers numbers will increase as time goes on.
